Polar Bears in the Arctic: Saw & Mitre + David duChemin
A few months ago we had the distinct honor of working with one our favorite photographers and authors, David duChemin to frame two of his photographs for his new home in Victoria, British Columbia.
Last November David traveled to Cape Churchill, Manitoba to photograph the dangerous and elusive polar bears that live in the area. Read more about his travel's on his blog.
When David got in touch with us about collaborating on a project to bring his photographs to life, we jumped at the chance. When working on each frame here at the workshop we are able to study the intricacies of the images, and constantly reminds me/us the privilege we are given with each project we undertake. David's images were no exception.
Project Details
For both of David's photographs we framed them in our Gallery Collection frame design for a 24" x 13.5" photograph. For a classic look, David choose our maple frame with a black finish along with ultra-thick 8-ply archival matting. As with all of our premium Gallery Collection frames, each frame is individually handcrafted from the highest quality woods and materials we can get our hands on.
Frame your own prints in this frame design, today!
Thanks to David for permission to share , please make sure to check out more of his work!
