At Saw & Mitre Frame Company we are very conscious that our livelihood comes from the beautiful forests of the United States.  Here's how were acting to be a good steward of this precious resource.

Buy a Frame - Plant a Tree

For every frame that is purchased we will plant a tree on your behalf.  A donation will be made to plant a tree in an area in need of reforestation through American Forests. 

Sustainable Wood

American hardwoods, such as the maple and walnut woods that we use in our frames are considered a renewable and sustainable resource in the United States.  At Saw & Mitre Frame Company we source the highest quality wood available from forests in New England were tight regulations are in place for deforestation and illegal harvesting of wood.  

Use Only What You Need

We work closely with suppliers who feel the same way as we do about our trees.  In order to limit our impact, we only take exactly the amounts of wood we need to build our frames.
