Project Highlight: Photographer Eric Laurits

I was recently commissioned by Virginia based photographer, Eric Laurits to make twelve walnut frames that were to be hung in his clients lake house in New Hampshire.  The unique part of this project for me is that Eric let me know that the frames are to be hung in a room to compliment an original George Nakashima coffee table.  Now since passed, George Nakashima's work and philosophy of woodworking are revered and these original pieces are only going up in value.  In a small sort of way, its an honor to have my frames worthy of being able to compliment such a work of art.  Here are a few photos of the project.
